Theif
He's absolutely insane
 and that unhinged
 ripple
 laps onto me.
 He's beautiful.
 She's beautiful.
 There's a gawky elegance.
 Daniel is one big oxymoron
 sometimes.
 Danielle.
Or maybe just a frustrating moron
 One who I quickly learned
 I cannot breathe without.
 Smoke and stolen booze
pours out of his mouth and eyes
 and there this electric
 snap.
 He snaps into me.
 Just right.
 We're puzzle pieces.
 His half got snatched away.
 Stolen.
 How is that fair?
I hold a silver band to my cheek
and I can almost hear him laugh
 laugh very softly
 and can almost feel
 his missing touch
 in my tangled hair.
 Theif.
 Master shoplifter.
 He nicked my heart
 from right under my nose.
I still wonder how I didn't notice the
 gaping hole.
 Maybe because it isn't ragged.
 It's neatly filled in
 with a perfect jaw line
and warm breath on my neck.
 I am cold without him.
