Through a child's eyes
Everything is romanticized
There are nothing but happy endings;
No lies, just pretending.
But, as you get older and the end is beginning,
There are less happy endings;
More lies no pretending,
But, part of life is growing up,
And growing up you just can't pass up.
So look past the dark to the light ahead;
Keep an eye on the positive and ditch the dread.
Because life can happen without a warning,
But there is always dark before the morning.
