Daunting white empty page,
I know you must be filled,
Filled with elaborate words
To inspire the hearts of young and old
To ignite a passion, to change a heart,
What heavy burden you carry,
Empty poem, so frail,
To soon be filled with life,
You haunt me with your purity,
Words not yet written,
What message have you to share?
Tell me, empty poem, what dreams and secrets do you hold?
