A loss of a friend
Congrats to the victors,
oh how they fought so well,
the subject of what they've won,
I dare not dwell,
all forced upon me,
bittersweet lack of victory,
instead given to these two,
for my time (I guess) is due.
I reigned with my glorious prize,
for a couple of years or so,
but what the prize wanted,
was not me but the duo.
I've been pushed down,
my face on the cold ground,
forced into the tiny corner,
where there is no sound.
No one can hear me,
especially not you,
no one can see me,
what can be seen are these two.
Oh how I miss you,
we were always as one,
but you feel different,
I'm just another bullet in your gun.
You've shot me,
right here in my heart,
I'm slowly bleeding,
while you walk off, depart.
The friendship that was once had,
was special to me,
but as all things do,
goods turn to bads, favors turn to pleas.
