Bad Wolf
It was foreseen that I should see what I saw,
That I would gaze into that golden stream.
Luminous light which lay dormant for so long,
Should peer over it’s secure hide-away to pour its life into me.
I could see clearer than I should ever see before:
Stars shinning, a universe collapsing, and distant drumming.
All within my wielding reach, but until the Oncoming Storm is safe,
Nothing could satisfy the celestial humming.
The omniscient creator who escaped its crevice,
Created me to save her thief.
Whirlpooling along the walls of the vortex,
The wheezing against the silence of space never seemed to cease.
I cannot remember what happened to the remainder of my memory.
When I awoke, I was reassured that I had been restored back to my old self,
But now, whenever I go, I see the two words she whispered to me.
Wherever I look, I see Bad Wolf.
