Losing someone is a Boomerang
Letting someone go is a boomerang.
You let it go, hoping it will come back.
Usually, it returns,
But sometimes,
It doesn’t.
It has fun.
Like a kid in a candy store for the first time.
It misses you,
But it enjoys its new life.
Everything is working out.
You hope it’s nice and safe,
But then it crashes.
It falls.
Stumbles like a game of plinko,
Then it breaks.
It tears you apart
You lose hope
People tell you it will be okay
It will be okay,
But there will always be regret.
But if it does return,
You never want to set it back.
Right when you thought it was gone
But you let it go again,
Not knowing what will happen next.
Letting someone go is a boomerang
Even if something does happen
You have to be positive
Even if there is challenges
Everything will be okay.
