A Milestone From Living
I have not lived
Nor have i died
Those lines have stuck with me for now
"everybody dies
But not everybody lives."
Why is it that when we appoint our self a role in someones life
It not for their sake but ours
It is said that to live,
you need to love.
And what of those who can't find that sacred love,
those 'forever alone.'
We as people feel the need to make ourselves apart of something bigger than our lives,
though it makes no sense why.
To live you must you need a milestone
Your one from living.
I have so often imagined it
We cling to this falsetto
Thinking it could hold something we once acquired.
I wish..
For once, someone would pause in life and say
"F*** this s***."
Suffering for the sake of love,
that'll only case you more suffering.
I say,
take a tub of ice cream and cry it out.
Your one milestone doesn't need to love,
let it be adventure,
hell, let it be fear.
You'll be scared, but you'll have lived.
Now that you've lived
You'll be one milestone closer to death
