I Wish

I wish that I could fly into the depths of drifting fantasies.

To sore on the mystic wings of priceless memories.

To drink from the cup that is freely given to me.

To eat the bread that brings forth eternal life.

I dream of a world, whose civilization walks the ways of the Spirit

I wish to take form as an angel, with wings of velvety white.

To take refuge in the loving arms of The Redeemer.

To hide away in the shelter of my Father.

The Son rules on high above the world, his feet restrained from crushing us beneath his soles.

We look up in fear, trembling with awe and wonder.
