He's Perfect

He’s always there
Sitting right by my side
I can’t help but wonder
Could he ever be mine?
He never leans back
He never quits
He never fails to say something cute
He never fails to make me smile
He looks up like there’s something to see
He searches the room for something to read
He watches as people pass us by
He waits for something to change, or die
He’s quiet, but loud
He’s quick, but careful
He’s smart, but quirky
He’s weird, but perfect
He’ll move a little
Maybe look up and smile
But all I know
Is I love that shy guy
