When something goes terribly wrong,
When life plays stress as your favorite song,
You shut me out. You turn away.
When someone is hurt that is close to you,
When you go somewhere else to start anew,
You shut me out. You turn away.
No words ever pass from your eyes or your lips,
And I feel that you are slowly falling out of my grips,
You shut me out. You turn away.
Shift your mood and try to express,
don’t leave me like a desert in bareness,
Don’t shut me out, don’t turn away.
