Untitled
I am not the colour of my skin
I am not the length of my hair
Or the freckles upon my cheek
I am not valued by the size of my breasts
The fat on my thighs
The roundness or flatness of my stomach
This, is just my vessel
I did not choose it, I can not change it
I am the spirit inside
I am my favourite colour
I am my favourite song
I am valued by the way I treat the world
The way I talk to others
The things I do
The progress I make
Do not judge me by my appearance
Do not point out my faults
I’ve lived in here 17 years
I already know
For every one flaw you see
I see five
But that is okay
That is not me
I am not my vessel
