The Abyss

Here I stand, bright as day,
Yet cloaked in darkness.
I teeter on the edge
Of an endless abyss.
I stare into the eyes of the end,
Wondering why?
Many sins plague my conscience.
Many wrongdoings plague my conscience.
Many shadows block out my light.
I teeter on the edge of the abyss
And I know that the time is now.
I jump.
