As I’m sitting in my chair
Within my office space

I was lost in only a world of words
Creating a fantasy world for the fictional characters in my dreams
Oh how I wish to scream
My pain
Because that job alone was nothing to gain
But what we had
Was something true
But nobody knew
With what you were going to do
For you leaving was fast
For me leaving was slow
Cannot let go
The agony of hearing you say those words
Still tears me into pieces
And then turning me into ashes
Flying away
Into the sky
Never again
Will I love again
Or else I’ll become insane
Never trusting a soul again
Because of you
Truth be told
I don’t regret
What we had
Was something true
Should I had told her to stay
Would she have listened
For my heart
It’s better left unsaid
Because now that it’s gone
It’s better left in the previous pages
Where in the past dragons like her fought against me and the other wizards and mages
Seeing you go was tough
Seeing you go was more than hard enough
But now that you’re gone
I’m here all alone
Once again sitting in this chair
Back within this office space
Lost again within this world of words
For now and ever always
