“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these?"

-Cave Johnson (Portal 2)

Who am I?
The Dreamer
The Lover
The Fighter
Afraid

What shall become of me?
My Aspirations
My Hopes
My Fears
What am I to do-
For survival-
Means to live without them

Once on my knees babbling-
Back there again-
Yearning and straining,
Like those before me-
I am Fallen

But still I toil-
Still I cry in my efforts
Still I reach for Desire
Loved ones and Enemies-
I am beset upon both
Still I toil
Still I cry

Till I close my eyes-
Radiance upon my back
And ethereal Bliss overcomes me
Until I depart
Still I toil

The author's comments:
I wrote this while listening to the musical stylings of Joe Hisaishi. The poem basically contains my thoughts and worries about life as a teenage scholar. I only hope that people enjoy.
