I really do
I love you,
I really do.
Without you,
My heart is black and blue.
I don’t feel right,
Without you.
I feel empty,
Every time I think of you.
You pollute my mind,
And I can’t wash it clean.
Nasty thoughts,
Fill the stream,
Of the memories,
Of you and me.
I leaked tears every night,
Because you were the last person,
To cross my mind,
Before I closed my eyes
To try and erase you,
From my sight.
My mother asked me
If there was anything she could do,
I replied with a simple,
Erase our memories
And erase her too
Because I don’t think,
I can live without you.
If only life was that simple,
Maybe I wouldn’t be crying over you.
