Soft waves kiss the shore,
Only to be sent away.
A calm deep breath in,
Fills the lungs with salt.
Seagulls sqwack overhead,
As the orange Sun begins to rise.
Soon colorful towels will dot the Beach.
Hundreds of people will trek through the sand,
But for now it's all mine.

The author's comments:
A trip to the beach inspired me to write this poem. I loved it so much and wanted to write how i felt. I hope when people read this they will feel as if they are at the beach.
