Unrelenting
The girl with sad eyes sat
And waited
For the boy who would never come
She sat and brushed her hair
Her hair with the hints of pure gold
Filtering through the darkness
She was beautiful
Of course,
With a perfect smile
To hide feelings of all kinds
But her eyes could capture you,
With their depth
Their sadness
Almost as if they were completely separate
From the rest of her
Showing the great depths of whom she really was
Not the shining creature she appeared to be
But a spirit made of shadow
With only a few sparse shimmers
That’s who she really is
Each smile is fake
Only a disguise to hide true nature
Two shining orbs show the sorrow
That burrows deep inside her,
Unrelenting
