Floating on the breeze,
Flapping my wings for a greater height,
Maybe I am the robin,
Trying to tell my story in the wind.

Quiet against the ticking,
Not even heard in the darkness,
Maybe I am the mouse,
Trying to sneak on by.

Quickly running from prying eyes,
Blending with the others,
Maybe I am the rabbit,
Trying to blend into the forest.

Witnessing others evolve,
Listening to their words of knowledge,
Maybe I am the owl,
Trying to learn the way of life.

What am I?
Not a robin,
Nor a mouse,
Neither a rabbit,
Not even an owl,
I am only me in the end.
