"Always know you are special, you have abilities you will never understand"

Life whirls around our heads like a tornado
Can you see the beauty turn to dust?
A ragged yet fun train ride

Is there a meaning?
Born a horrible palace of fire
Slowly you whither into a dense black

But why?
Strong, flexible, thick bones like steel
Sickness, slenderness, sleek, and silent

What is time?
Oxygen moves as swift as light
Brightness to Darkness

What is that like?
A soul lost to love
The struggle of breath aging

Why so difficult?
Fun is now seen
Running through wildflowers
Spreading like a disease
A wish to go back

Is it really?
A love so pure
A life has begun

Why so weightless?
Soft, smooth, skin of innocence
To raise a very own
Eyes of darkness
Just like mine
A newfound love
For another flesh
Watch the growth
A bundle of trouble

What is this feeling?
Wrinkled and withered
Jumpy, feisty, and electricity

What is breath?
A coma of dreams
Controlling wires and cords
Slowly, calmly, innocently

Weight is lost

Life is full

Electric smooth

Breath is gone

A train of souls

This was a poem i wrote for my english class. It isn't my best, but very meaningful. i had no real inspiration. I used some thoughts from the song Avdotya - Arsonists get all the girls. This poem is about being born, growing up, getting married, having children, and dying.
