People think
cities and towns are so sophisticated and complex
but we fail to remember
we are the ones who created
and constructed the intricacies.

You, are a city. You
have your own streets weaved and intertwined inside of you,
those are your veins.
Each street is a transport,
each vein is a styled path to the center of your city—
your heart.

You are more intricate than any city on this earth.
Because there isn’t a city whose skyline can shine brighter
than your eyes.
The power of your city,
containing all your wicked dreams and lovely thoughts , is your brain
which string them into perfectly stated
phrases
and sentences
and ideas.

My favorite part, is that the power of your city
Does not require a generator or electrical line.
And I still have places that
I’d love to visit with you
Like Milan, Rome, Paris and London.
But I know, these cities
Or faded photographs
Or memories
Cannot replace you,
My favorite city of all.
