Ode to My Idol
You are all I ever talk about,
You taint all of my thoughts,
I care about you more than you could ever know.
I absolutely adore you,
Anyone I know could tell you that.
I look up to you so much,
I see all you have been through,
And you are still going strong.
I cannot imagine what would happen if I lost you.
The days would be darker,
Weeks would be gloomier,
Months would be tortuous,
And years would be unbearable.
You help me through the tough times,
The bad days,
Your words brighten my mood,
Your eyes make me smile,
Everything you do makes me happy.
Your dumb jokes,
Goofy grins,
Even your hair.
They can all bring a smile to my face when nobody else can.
I look at you.
And I’m home.
All my worries,
All my struggles,
They seem to disappear.
Your voice.
So unique,
So lovely,
So soothing,
So absolutely
And positively beautiful.
You will never know how I feel,
Or what I think of you.
You will never know how much you have helped me,
And I could never repay you for all you have done for me
