Revolution
Gun-powder makes the air thick and hard to breath,
Sweaty masses of people hide behind barricades.
There is no protection for the warm flesh of men in battle,
As the rough metal pierce their skin,
Becoming small shards as it becomes buried within.
Freedom can be tasted but the time is unknown.
As rebels shouts ring throughout the streets,
Calling for change and justice.
But their calls go unfavorably answered,
So now everyone must pay in blood.
