good ole summer night

Sittin by a fire
It’s sizzlin and poppin,
sippin on a cold one.
Roastin a mallow or maybe a dog.
Tryin not to get to close,
but also not to faraway.
As the night gets late,
and you gotta go even though
you wanna stay.
But heck!
It’s summer you can
come back and do it again
the next day.
