how do you mend a broken heart
Sadness in her eyes
Tears splashing by
I sometimes wonder
How she gets by
I see her pain
I see her sorrow
Everyday
She gets bullied
She gets beaten
I know this is a problem
We all talk about
Some just give up on the fact
That this happens
Some just don’t care
I try to stand up for the ones
Who are broken
But how do you mend a broken heart
How do you fix someones sorrow
With stitches, with care, with a smile
Would you run a mile to just know how
To make someone stop crying
Its like there dying inside
Crumbling to pieces to sand
And all people do is stand
And watch this person fall apart
Well i won’t be that person
I’ll stand up for someone in the dark
I’ll mend there heart
and guide them to the light
so then I’ll truly know how to mend a heart
