I have tugged at its strings and played it like a harp
My mind tries to wrap around it but has never gone too far
There are cracks, and there are scratches
I have places that might not end
But between my lips and my lungs, I learned the quickest way to break a heart is to begin what cannot end

I wrote this after I watched my friend's heart break from all angles. Then, mine broke as well.
