Heart
A little boy named Heart,

Broke into the world as a little monster.

 Fell into a hurricane

With beaten séances and broken dreams

 Right onto his little head.

He’s not supposed to be little,

But he’s supposed to be a monster

 He’s torn in two,

 Doesn’t know what to do,

So he ran away from home.

Little monster Heart fell into two pairs of hands,

 Love and Life,

The monster tore love into sadness,

 And Life into death

 And couldn’t even tell.

 He went straight to Hell.

 Poor little Heart’s cell

Wasn’t much more than his own body.

 Little monster Heart

Looked back and forth for a start,

 When did this start?

 Before he was born.

 Heart’s last choice

 Wasn’t to cry

 Wasn’t to die

But to pierce his own heart

 With his spirit

 To rebirth it.
