Never Alone
A cachinnating fellow

 Threw his hands and said,

 “So pretty

 And witty,

 Says only the devil,

 A red lie he says.”

 I'm just a red lie.

 A grinning fellow

 Right over my shoulder.

 He likes to pretend

 I'm a substance unknown,

 That he's my detached soul,

 So real he is.

 And I'm just a substance.

 Deep down,

 In the body of Earth,

 A smirking fellow

 Tends to rejoice angels.

 Lustful ties

 That if I'd break

 He'd tell them all

 I'm just under a devil's hand.

 Way down

 A chuckling fellow

 Doesn't understand

 That I feel alone.

 He thinks he's real

And he's always by my side to fulfill me,

 That I'm just imagining.

 Out in front of me

 A smiling fellow

Holds a gun to my head.
