Tests
Every test is like a mountain, that I have to climb
except inside my mind.
Yet, the mountain never ends
with multiple twists and bends,
but the mountain is not a danger.
The mountain is a scale,
the mountain is a game,
that cannot be tamed.
To practice, to prep
is to stretch your legs.
To make your practice impromptu
is to simply destroy you.
The mountain is a blood bath,
the mountain is horrid,
for those who prep’ and those who practice
till 2 a.m. on a mattress.
The mountain is a report,
but it will also retort,
yet it still is your friend.
Without a mountain,
life would be a plain.
The mind would be lost and dead
with a heart monitor beeping next to it on its death bed.
The mountain is two sided,
one up and one down
and the mountain may cause a smile or a frown,
but remain optimistic
or you will fall far, far away from
the mountain that is mystic.
