My Name.
My name is not a series of letters,
or a way of pronouncing words,
it is my life, my dreams, and what represents me.
Not my teachers, not my parents, not my friends.
Only me.
It could be words, colors, ideas, or pictures.
My name is how I understand myself.
No, how the world understands me.
How the world treats you is the way you decide,
the way you make it happen.
My name, the only connection to my true reality,
the kid within all of us.
The way you mold your name, the way you shape it,
what you want to be perceived as.
Don't change your name for someone or because of someone.
Don't let them do that, because when you change your name,
you change yourself, what you are.
Why would people change their name,
do they want to be someone, someone else?
Life isn't like that, in life you have to be you.
My name, it's a beauty, a thing I love and need.
My name is me.
