"How happy am I to see myself as imperfect and to be in need of God's mercy."

Walking walking,
He kept his eyes forward.
Heel toe heel toe,
He stayed on the black

No clouds in the sky.
No grass on the ground.
Just a straight black line
That he quickly followed.

An hour went by.
He continued to walk.
Two days went by.
He continued to walk.

Was he nearing the end?
Would this nightmare stop?
Up there, he looked.
At a steep hill, the line stopped.

Nearing the hill, his heart wanted to fly!
'Twas the end the end.
This torture was through.
Once he reached the end, what would he do?

One mile away!
Fifty feet away!
He was almost there.
Victory! Victory!

And there he stopped.
He was finally at the top.
And there he stood.
He did not smile.

There it was.
He looked on the ground.
A straight red line.
That He quickly followed.
