Cloaks and Colors
You weave your tears into words
Laced with letters of liquid laughter
 Stitched together with spun heartstrings
Creating a cloack clentched in your fists
 Dragged across your shoulders
 It's wrapped upon your soul
A quiet wish to hide your true colors
 Not wanting to be bare.
But one day you brush past a person
Accidently shifting their cloack and seeing a splash of color
So you pull back your cloack to show them
 Your colors compliment their own
  The stitching becomes undone
 Your words are pouring out
Suddenly your soul is left bare
 But so is theirs
And the colors combined are greater
Than they could have ever been alone
