One-sided Love

Darling this one-sided love of ours
It leaves me feeling
Like I'm trapped in a mirror
I'm crying out
My fists pounding against the glass
The broken shards digging into my heart
And finally
You look at me
And my heart beats dimly
When you smile
But then I realize
And crumble to the ground
Among the splinters of my wounded heart
And even as my tears fall
All you see is yourself
