Playing With Fire
Don’t hate me for wanting to play with fire
I hold you like the end of a match
And breathe you in like a cigarette
I very much so love the taste of smoke
If I drop you, my paper house will go up in flames
But if I keep you too close, you’ll make marks on my skin
Leaving me fascinated and in pain
The bottle burns the back of my throat
But it numbs the rest of me
I need it now that I can’t huddle near you’re fire
Because without it leaves me so cold
