Feelings.
If I could be a color, why not orange?
Delightful it is, feeling like happiness
Not like this poem though, a challenge
Which causes some sadness
Imagine if I was rain
And I saw all your pain
You’re standing outside
Looking like you’ve cried
You’ve never realized that you’re not alone
And you don’t have to be all on your own
What if I was a drum?
Feel the beat with every hit
And you’re not afraid to hum
With every sound you get
Cuz it all just seems to fit
Tired of trying to entertain?
Wanting to jump off some planes
It can be rough
But you know you’re tough
If I was anything
Would it actually matter?
It would mean nothing
Because in the end everything would shatter.
But that’s just me.
Now be who you need to be.
And let everyone see.
