The fighting love

I lay here with such desire to have what we once had, an emotion of love, of happiness, I want to elegantly pull you in and kiss your luscious lips, I was immature to let you go, I am mature enough to want you back, but you admire someone else, I admire you, as you are the one that made me most happy, you my lady are perfect, I dream of you in my arms, but what we had is now dead in your eyes, in mine it has a glimmer of life, fighting to hold on. –Lloyd Hopkins
