I hear it's nice where you're living,
but I like it here.

The cold stays bearable
when I walk past the music,
warmth waltzes out
and into my heart.

Exhuberance heals the pain
of waiting for whenever.

Don't worry about me,
just keep me alive by your thoughts,
keep me around by your memories,

Otherwise I'd fade away,
from your life anyway.

I believe we all have this undefinable, aching feeling when people close to us suddenly leave our lives, for however long it may be, each memory of them only reminds you they're not with you, but you keep hope they ache for you too.
