wonderland
At first the little girl
Was in shock. She looked like
A ghost had appeared. She gazed around at all
The white snow, it looked like someone had
Sprinkled glitter all over the ground.
The snow was like a felt blanket spread
Across the ground.
Her eyes were as wide as the Grand Canyon.
Her smile was shining brighter than the
Sun in the sky.
She takes a couple of steps forward, and then turns around.
A sheer feeling of fear struck down like a bolt of lighting.
She had started to get the feeling like she shouldn’t be there.
Almost as if someone was watching her, lurking in the shadows.
The little gusts of wind sound like tiny voices whispering in her ear.
Then all of a sudden a scream, almost deafening,
When it penetrates your ear.
Then, silence.
