When the Ice Melts

When the ice melts the water turns a faint blue.
The waves crash onto land,
submerging the mint green grass in its presence.
The once blooming flowers are ripped up from their delicate roots.
Resurrecting through the chasms of my mind.
Bursting at the seems.
The water freezes,
it was only a dream.
