I heard your voice again

I realized I forgot what your voice sounded like

As you muttered "i love you"

Your voice wasn't a normal voice

Maybe to other people

But to me it was reassurance

It was remembrance

And now I know i'll never forget your voice again

When i am in a tough spot in my life

I will remember what your voice sounded like

As you say "i love you" one last time...

Inspired by a video of my six year old cousin that died last year. In the video he said "i love you".
