Sink.
They all sink in their tasteless fury over the mountain falling apart
But fail to note the flowers and fruits near the crystal-clear pond
They see dead edifices and torn bricks littering cement roads
But not flesh and blood under the once-too-valuable rubble
They feel growing unease in their almost-lost spines
But not the hunger and scars of left-over orphans
They numb their pains with strewn drugs
While death numbs ragged bodies - trashed as if plastic cups
