I’m nothing but every thing around you

I’m the fog, which creeps along at dawn, and I’m the dew that comes to rest on you in the night

I’m the early morning breeze and the wind behind a hurricane

I’m the soft rays of sun at dawn and the scorching heat of the desert sun in one

I’m the soul in a dead man’s eyes and an infant’s last and first breath

I’m the pathway of the moon on the rippling dark lake and its frantic waves crashing against the cliffs

I’ the very feeling in the air you breathe and the emptiness in a hollow heart

I’m the wilting soul of a caged sparrow and the burning spirit of a wild horse as it races the wind

I’m the shrill cry in the still midnight air and I’m the loud absence of sound in a wanderer’s mind

I an the single, hot tear blazing its way across a smooth, brown cheek but I’m also a little boy’s spirit curling in on itself in rebellion against the cruel whip

I’m the blood trickling down a soldier’s sword and a warrior’s burning soul

I’m an empty prairie where a thousand winds roam and a wandering spirit without a home

I’m the cold embers of a fire that never burned and the rays of sunlight dancing in the ocean

I’m a story never told and I’m the agony in the writer’s heart

I’m a bird caged in paradise and immortal’s soul which cannot die

I play with the shadows and rule the rain

I stand between fire and ice on the battle field

I’m in every unanswered echo and empty cave

My soul and heart have frozen my body in time

I am a vast, empty plane without a name

I rule it all and I am its slave

I cannot touch the ground but I cannot fly, I’m suspended in air and time

And in this all I am a silluette

Wandering the world and all in it
