Favorite Quote:
&ldquo; No. Don&#039;t give up hope just yet. It&#039;s the last thing to go. When you have lost hope, you have lost everything. And when you think all is lost, when all is dire and bleak, there is always hope.&rdquo; <br /> ― Pittacus Lore

The years of a child
Should be carefree
The years of a child,
that is,
Every child but me.

Most children grow
With wings upon their back,
That is,
Every child but me.

Born to mothers who cannot cope,
Placed in homes devoid of hope,
These children like me do exist,
But our tears dissolve to mist.

I believe in a God above,
And my pain has made me strong,
There's a purpose behind past wrongs,
And a life to look forward to,
That is,
For every child, even me.

The author's comments:
every child does indeed deserve to have a healthy upbringing. unfortunately, I was one who did not have such an opportunity. I believe that it is important to keep our heads up, even when faced with difficulties that not everyone faces.
