You Just Didn't Know It yet
I don't understand couples that aren't best friends first. I'm obviously not saying they don't love each other as much as couples who were, but when you become good friends with someone you recognize their faults, and work around them. You don't ignore them and convince yourself they're perfect. You grow to know them better than you know yourself. You remember that they like pineapple on their pizza, and three scoops of sugar in their tea. You know what they're dealing with, and what makes them feel better. All before you even realize you love them. And that's the beautiful part, you were falling in love the whole time; you just didn't know it yet.
