Always Be Missing Him
I remember the days when I was young,
Spending time with my grandpa was so much fun.
We were always close and spent a lot of time together.
I just wish the time lasted longer.
He and I had a routine.
I would go to his room and he would teach me how to sing.
Straight from the diaphragm he would always say,
Singing from my nose always drove him insane.
There was this one song we would always sing
“I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me.
Losing my grandpa felt like loosing a huge part of me.
He was like a father to me.
I was always by his side,
I wasn't ready to say goodbye.
A piece of my heart never to be replaced,
Where all my memories of him shall remain.
