I remember the day
It Flew over the fence.
It wasn't planned.

I remember the pitcher
He was tall,frightened.

I remember the bat-
Combat B1

I remember the ball
Red laces, white core

I remember the cheering-
"That's my boy!"

It was gone now
but I remember crossing home

I remember the team-
Arkadelphia All-Stars

Yes I remember,
My first home run.
