She doesn’t know that he’s always lurking.
She doesn’t know he’s always hunting.
She doesn’t know he’s always hiding.

She smelled of cherry blossom
and her skin felt angel soft,
with those mesmerizing blue eyes.
Her screams of terror were melodies
to his ears.

He ached for her warm tears.
He ached for watching her toss in her dreams.
He ached for causing her scars.

Now he has escaped from his prison,
seeking for his princess
who thought she had
escaped him.
She can’t escape the longing
desire which burns for her.

He’s closer than you think princess,
He can smell the scent of cherry blossom
on his bloody fingertips.

This desire isn’t natural
This desire burns for her
This teenage boy isn’t natural though,
He’s trying to make this girl
Love him so.

I listened to a very eerie song which influenced the tone of this poem.
