Color Me Blind
His colors, they radiated
From his perfect skin-
Glowing smile.
soft deceptive voice.
He watched as I fell-
so hard,
so fast.
He offered just enough to captivate me.
The love I saw in his eyes-
was false.
Just mine,
reflected.
He got me,
and Broke my walls
Blinded me with his colors-
lied to me.
Ignorance was not bliss.
His blazing colors dulled,
revealing his true pigment.
Oozing black and hate.
He's gone now.
But took a part of me-
Stole my own color,
and the brightness in my eyes.
I am broken.
