Do you see that star in the night
Shining ever so bright?
Do you hear the ‘who’ing of the nearby owls?
Are the wolves awaiting on their midnight prowls?
Can you taste the fresh rain drizzling down?
Is it salty and bitter or sweet and delightful?
Can you feel the hard winds throughout your hair?
Swooshing and swaying the mighty trees going bare
Do you enjoy the things you’re intaking?
Or are you waiting for the forest to go down breaking?
