Frozen Rain
A window pane; broken.
A wall of greens, reds and whites
The once perfectly blanketed ground.
Hand painted ornaments.
Shorn up fragments
rain down on the sinners below.
The untouched landscape
The only witness.
A tragedy you say?
Bloody judgment I say!
The mix of shards and hail
Bring the decorated village to its knees.
An eerie silence overpowers everything else
As the bombardment comes to end.
