Mistakes
Mistakes?
Yes, I believe I’ve made a few of those in my life.
Some of them are in my classes at school
Others are just bad memories that will forever remain in the past.
How you choose to deal with them is up to you.
Those are the moments to live for.
Mistakes?
Everyone makes them.
At least once a day
There’s something everyone regrets.
Those are the moments to live for.
Mistakes?
They may not seem like much at the moment they happen
But they help shape you into who you are.
Who you will become is based on what you learn from your mistakes.
Those are the moments to live for.
Mistakes?
“Yes!” I exclaimed excitedly to the proposal.
“Oh god, is this a mistake?” I later thought when trying to plan the wedding.
But one phrase, one sentence, three little words made all of those fears disappear.
“I love you.”
Those are the moments to live for.
Mistakes?
“Oh god I’m pregnant.”
I started crying afraid he might leave me.
But he surprised me
“I love you. We’ll love that baby so much.”
Those are the moments to live for.
Mistakes?
“Mommy, how much do you love me?” Her daughter asked.
“How much do I love you? You’re the best thing that ever happened to me.
“You know how much you love your stuffed bear? I love you a million times more.”
She was my scariest mistake, she was best mistake, and she is and always will be my favorite mistake.
I smiled and thought, “These are the moments to live for.”
